Denise Kelley

Even though I'm a retired homeschool mom, I continue to teach IEW both privately and in co-op settings, and I am also an IEW online instructor. My classes span from 3rd-12th grade with an emphasis on teaching writing as an art form. I believe that understanding writing as art encourages a love for words. Love for words develops into the ability to create prose full of strong image and feeling. As a teacher, I love watching skillful writers emerge as the students experiment with words and begin to recognize their own writing talent.
