A day of classes for those with IEW experience

Cost: $20.00/participant (Teachers & Parents may observe at no cost)

Concurrent registration in Teaching Writing: Structure & Style is expected for teachers or parents of enrolled students who have not previously completed TWSS either live or on video.

Story Writing (Grades 3-8): 8:30am – 11:00am

Research (Grades 5-10): 11:30am – 2:00pm

Creative Writing (Grades 5-10): 2:30pm – 5:00pm


These 2.5-hour classes for students Grades 3-10 will give direct instructions in aspects of IEW Units III (stories), Unit VI (research), Unit VII (creative writing). Grade levels are approximate; however, all students should have some experience with Key Word Outlines and at least a few of the dress-up techniques. Class size is limited to 30 participants. Parents are encouraged to observe.
