Are the PAL lessons scripted?

Yes and no. I wrote the lessons to be fall-out-of-bed-easy to use. They are scripted enough that you can come in cold and teach each lesson. The instructions I give you are incremental so you can learn how to teach reading and writing as you teach. There is very little preparation necessary.
However, the lessons are also completely adjustable. There are easy-to-scan headers on every page, so if you know what you are doing, it is easy to see what is planned for the day at a glance.
