Can I use the Poetry Memorization course alongside PAL?

PAL does have poetry integrated, so you don’t need another poetry program. However, you can use the two at the same time. The goal of the poetry in PAL is for presentation of the phonics and for enjoyment. You will read the poem every day for 5-10 days; however, memorizing the poem is not required.
If you are doing just the PAL Writing, I would certainly get the Poetry Memorization course to use alongside. If your child is printing and reading well, I would start the program in Part 2: Copy Work and Style, but use the Poetry Memorization poems for the copy work (copying from the book or writing from memory). It would be a wonderful way to dovetail the two programs.
