  • Classical Conversations
    Classical Conversations exists to undergird and empower home school families in their schooling journey. Our weekly tutorial programs are designed to create a committed Classical Christian Community by providing structure and support using Classical Conversations’ curriculum guides, along with great fellowship for parents and students. We offer Programs for the following levels Foundations (K4-6th), Essentials (3rd-6th), and Challenge for (7th-12). In addition, Classical Conversations empowers home school families though our Parent Practicum events, that are designed to teach parents how to break down any given subject and teach it.

    At Homeschool How-To's we have scores of blogs for homeschool moms and descriptions of a hundred and one how-to's on a variety of homeschool topics to save homeschoolers time, energy, and stress. As you know, we've been offering these homeschool helps for nearly 20 years (since 1991) and Renee has spoken at homeschool conferences around the U.S.

    This site offers essay contest information for student of all ages. It summarizes writing contest information: including due dates, ages, prizes, and topics. Many of the essay/poetry contest deadlines are coming soon-- around February-March. If you have students who would like to be notified so that they do not miss the entry date, the website has an option where you can sign up for an e-mail reminder from the deadlines.
  • National Christian Forensics and Communications Association A local contacts page where homeschool students go to do speech and debate.
  • Lamplighter Publishing
    A publishing company offering books that inspire godly character and have stood the test of time.
  • Logos School
    Provides a classical and Christ-centered curriculum. Their website has a catalog of their products.
  • Reading Help for Learning Disabled Students
    Susan Barton developed a reading program that is very effective for teaching dyslexic children. For more information on her program, click here. For more information on dyslexia, click here.
  • Schola-Tutorials
    Receive a classical education online. Includes instruction in the study of great books, latin, rhetoric and logic. Learn from a great teacher.
  • TRISMS

  • All About Spelling
    We recommend "All About Spelling" for the younger grades. It is an Orton-Gillingham based phonetic spelling program that is comprehensive with mastery learning. All About Spelling presents the spelling rules incrementally using tiles and word cards so that any student can succeed with spelling. It is effective for dyslexics. Although it is not a reading program, the rules taught for encoding (forming a word from the sounds) are very helpful for decoding (reading) as well.
