Multi-sensory and multi-tasking time saver!

I must send praise for the Teaching Writing program. I purchased the program at the CHEC Conference in Denver - 2009 after attending several of Mr. Pudewa's lectures. He is a fantastic speaker, and I felt very convicted to change several of my Public School experiences which had carried over into our homeschool. Our son loved Andrew from the first video - especially the part about it being ok to be messy. The subject matter appeals to him as well and he is retaining the information contained in the short writing assignments.

We pulled our now 9 year old from public school in April of first grade. We started 1st grade over. He has been struggling with reading and spelling ever since which was made very clear by the 3rd grade testing. Attending the conference has helped us see how we were mis-lead into thinking he was behind and the errors in his past experiences with spelling and reading. "Editing" the same words has yielded great improvement in his overall spelling. I also commend the program from an aspect of convenience: We can cover reading, history/science, writing, spelling, grammar and computer practice and typing in about 1 hour with your writing program.
