My children ask to do more writing!

I watched the entire Teaching Writing Structure and Style DVD set, and both of my children have worked through the workshop DVD's included with the set. They both love it and ask for more. When my children ask to do more writing (my son wanted to do more on a Saturday—did I mention this is a high-school BOY wanting to do more writing lessons on a Saturday), I figure I'm on to something valuable!

Writing was my minor in college; I've always loved writing. I am overjoyed to see my children sharing my love of writing. I've been a parent long enough to realize that just because I love something, doesn't mean that my children will love it. So when they actually do share my delight, that makes it all the more precious. I think IEW will nurture their desire and give them the confidence and skill to excel.
